Ponystars? PONYSTARS??? Argh, so much cuteness! What is a poor Ferryman to do? What on earth am I talking about, I hear you cry. Okay, I'll tell you. Ponystars is a game where you can collect, raise, and train ponies as your own. But what exactly are Ponystars? Well, Ponystars are cute, magical ponies who live in the Grasslands of Fairy Valley. Once a Ponystar is entrusted to your care, then it becomes your responsibility, You must look after them, and ensure their well-being. That means everyday you must, feed them, brush them, and muck out their hooves. When you run out of food, brushes, or hoof-mucking tools, you can simply buy more from the Marketplace. Keep your Ponystars health and happy, and they will love you in return. It's hard work taking care of them, but you can also have so much fun. You can enter your Ponystars in the daily tournament. And if they do well, you can earn some Fairy Gold. You can train your Pony, and delight in watching the Experience Points go up. You could also begin a Grasslands Adventure. In the Grasslands, you might be lucky enough to find some lost Fairy Treasure, as well as completing quests given by Wild Ponystars, and trying to solve the mystery of the lost Aurora Ponystars. If you prefer, you can have a game of Ponystar Blackjack, but will you beat the champion, Jojo Jumper?
When you register with Ponystars, you are allowed to pick 2 Ponies - one male (stallion), one female (mare). You can change the colour of their body, manes, and eyes, if you wish. Then decide which species of Pony you want for the male, and which species for the female. There are 6 species of Ponystar to choose from: Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Love, Feline: Have a look at them all, and see which is your favourites. When you are happy with everything, the ponies will breed, giving you your very first baby Ponystar, which is completely unique (Awwwwwww, aint it cute?). Now go ahead and name your Pony. Your pony will remain a baby for 10 days, at which point it becomes an adult. There is a Tutorial to guide you through the game, if you wish - just click on link at the left (under My Ponystars). You can complete the tutorials at your own leisure, but it doesn't affect your ability to play the game at all, since the tutorial is not compulsory. 
If, after a few days, you have proven yourself that you are capable of looking after your pony, the Fairies will grant you another pony. This is their gift to you. But at some point, you may want to expand your little Ponystar family even further, and there are several ways you can do this. You can buy Ponystars from a Breeder, but this is rather costly. You may prefer to buy Ponystars on the Black Market. This gives you a wide choice of Ponystars, both baby and adult. Alternatively, you can breed your own adult Ponystars by either using 2 of your own Ponies, or by sending a breeding request to another player. Ponystar pregnancies last for 7 days. When the baby is born, it automatically goes into the nursery, and you have only a few days to claim it. Bear in mind that as you obtain more Ponystars, you also need to buy more paddocks to keep them in. And you are allowed to keep up to 75 Ponystars altogether. 
Every once in a while, you may wish to treat your Ponystar. You can do this by going back to the Marketplace, and buying Traits. Traits are things like new mains, coats, brand marks, or other accessories that will make your Pony feel special. In fact, you can find everything your pony could possibly want at the Marketplace. Of course, feeding, brushing, picking your Ponystars hoofs, and buying traits such as new coats or accessories for your Ponystars can prove expensive business. But all is not lost. You are given 200 pieces of Fairy Gold per day, for every Pony you have. So if you have 5 ponies, then you will get 1000 pieces of Fairy Gold every day. You can also sell your Ponystars any time you wish. 
There are some paid options in the game, that require Acclaim Coins to access them. These are things like the ability to make your baby Ponystar become an adult instantly, buying some traits from the Marketplace, asking the fairy Osuna to take care of your ponies for a month, buying gifts for another user, or opening a treasure chest to find mysterious gifts. But in my opinion, this ruins the enjoyment of the game. I would prefer taking care of ponies myself, and not making them grow up instantly. Now if you'll excuse me, all this cuteness is too much for a Ferryman. I must go hide.
